During this course, which is completely hands on the analyst will learn how to manipulate and extract the data they want from the sea of packets they face. IDS systems are wonderful tools they do however generate massive amounts of data to be checked. After having attended this course the analyst will be well prepared to analyze and manage large amounts of IDS and firewall data.

Analysis Methodology

How does one actually go about analyzing an attack as seen at the packet level? It is easy to miss key pieces of information by taking a chaotic or unorganized approach to packet analysis. This course will show the analyst just how to approach packet analysis with an organized approach, which will yield the information one requires.
